The Sacrifice
For one empire to rise, another must fall.
For us to reach the highs, through dark holes we must crawl.
For the vision in the deep, we need,
we sacrifice and bleed, to make the leap.
The Allegorist
The project was a collaboration between Anna Jordan, a music artist creating under the name "The Allegorist" and me. I had the opportunity to work together with her and creating a video clip for one of the tracks from
EP "Blind Emperor".
Selected frames and video breakdown:
Video starts with close up shots showing the ground surfarces. Small scale subjects that are introducing the color pallette and tone of the upcoming video.
Larger pieces of the landscape are revealed introducing the viewer to harsh and dark nature elements.
Hero monument is being slowly hinted as a background element.

The shots above are about showcasing the shrine as the hero of the story. In the last one the camera is moving upwards as the next shots will be aerials.

Last two scenes are showing more of the sky, setting the viewer free and giving space so to say. They also portrey the hero as looking into the sky or somewhere into distance and not focusing on the surrounding despite being very integrated to it.
